Lights on the Mountain will take place from 6 until 10 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays and on Monday, Dec. 31, and Tuesday, Jan. 1. It's fourth year, Lights on the Mountain will benefit the Uniontown Herald-Standard's Give-A-Christmas campaign for the Salvation Army as well as the zoo. Woodland Zoo's Lights on the Mountain

December 1st through December 31st

This is a unique and spectacular display of Christmas lights, which was designed by students at Fayette Area Vo-Tech! You'll be able to drive thru the display and pay a visit to our live reindeer in this annual event.

This will take place between Wednesday through Sunday only, from 6 until 10 PM.
 

5th Annual Car Show & Oldies Concert

Sunday August 3rd, 2008

Car Show registration begins at 12:00, 50 Trophies awarded Sponsored by EQ Muffler & Herbie's Pampered Paws, Goodie Bags for drivers, Dash placques to the fisrt 100 cars registered Sponsored by Advantage Auto Sales, Door prizes, Chinese auction. Oldies concert to begin at 5:00 pm Bands to be announced

Registration for cars begins at 12:00 and cost $10.00 (this also gives the driver only a concert ticket). Car show is free to spectators. Zoo is an additional fee.
 

Zookeeper for the Day

You will be a zookeeper for the day, doing the daily functions of our zookeepers, feeding, scooping and learning to care for the animals.

Dates are pending on participation, and must be booked ahead of time. These are groups of 2 or more. Private days are available. Call 724-329-8664 to book date.
 

Spend the Night at the Zoo

Spend the night in the zoo, pizza, night tour, camping. 6:00 pm to 9:00 am.

Tatanka Oyote Wacipi (Buffalo Nation Dance)

A family event, displaying the culture, crafts and food of Native Peoples. Primitive camping available, must register ahead of time to camp. Vendors welcome by agreement and invitation. Bring you lawn chair. Absolutely no Drugs/Alcohol. PowWow will be held rain or shine.
